Daily Strength

I remember when I came home from the hospital after having Gianna and so desperately wanted to talk to someone, someone else who had experienced this pain. It was the middle of the night, and I found this group. I simply cannot say enough about these ladies, and the support we give each other. I don't know where I would be without them. We support each other like no one else can. Please join us.
This site also offers a miscarriage support group. You can find it at

Here are some other helpful places to go, most of them founded by moms like us. You will find links to books and articles that can help, as well as ways you can get involved.
Project Sweet Peas
We are a nationwide network of parents who strive to provide comfort to families who have children in the intensive care unit by providing care packages. We understand the stress of having child who has spent time in an intensive care unit or who has passed away. Our care packages contain items to aid in furthering the bond between parent and child and offers wellness items for parents. We also aim to make treasured memories for parents who have lost a child in the intensive care unit.
Gianna's Light is proud to provide ribbons for inclusion in Project Sweet Peas' memory boxes.
The Official Site of National Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day
Robyn Bear, founder of www.october15th.com, and founder of October 15th, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day envisioned a day when all grieving parents could come together and be surrounded by love and support from their friends and families, a day where the community could better understand their pain and learn how to reach out to those grieving. This would be a day to reflect on the loss yet embrace the love. While our babies’ lives where so brief, they were also very meaningful. Yet, there was not a time to talk about them. Our society seemed to forget or perhaps, simply didn't know how to reach out. Since October had been proclaimed "Awareness Month", she chose a day, in the middle of the month to become, "Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day".

Faith's Healing Baskets
Welcome to Faith's Healing Baskets! After our daughter, Georgianna Faith died at 35 1/2 weeks gestation due to a true knot in her umbilical cord, we felt called to give parents a little of the care and support that we were blessed with by our nurses. We also include items to encourage parents to create keepsakes that will bring them comfort during their grief journey. Baskets are donated to local hospitals in Montgomery, Al to parents like ourselves that are tragically struck by the death of their infant. In the future, we would like to expand our services to all Alabama hospitals. If you are here because you are a parent on this journey, please know you are not alone. If you are here because a friend or loved one has endured such a loss, please don't hesitate to contact us for support resources. Thank you for helping us help others in memory of our precious daughter. God bless!
